Experts of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine held an online meeting with the NCP of the Horizon 2020 Programme
On February 29, experts of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine held an online meeting with the National Contact Points of the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme. The purpose of the event was to analyze their work experience in order to take it into account in the work of the NPCs of the Horizon Europe Programme, which will be nominated soon, and invite them to participate in it.
Igor Taranov, Head of HEOinUA, told the audience about the opening of the Office and the peculiarities of its functioning. He also informed about the adoption by the Government of Ukraine of a Resolution approving the Regulations on the NCP and the Coordination Center of the Horizon Europe Framework Programme.
The results of a survey of the Horizon 2020 National Contact Points conducted by the Office’s specialists in January were presented, with a detailed analysis of all aspects of their activities. Colleagues shared their impressions and previous experience as NPCs, which will be useful to the Office’s specialists. The participants expressed their opinions on the nomination of the NCPs of the Horizon Europe Programme and suggested ways to improve the work process.
We would like to inform that on February 27, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a Resolution “On Approval of the Regulation on National Contact Points and the Coordination Center of the European Union Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon Europe and the European Atomic Energy Community Research and Training Programme (2021-2025), complementary to the Horizon Europe Programme”.
