HEOinUA continues to expand the boundaries of cooperation: meeting with representatives of STU

On April 9, representatives of the State Tax University visited Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine. Acting Rector of the STU Dmytro Serebrianskyi and Scientific Secretary Oleksandra Smirnova had a conversation with the specialists of the Office about the participating in the Horizon Europe Framework Programme.

The university management sees the Horizon Europe Programme as a significant opportunity for its employees. The research infrastructure of the consortia established under the Programme, is an important key element not only in obtaining additional extra-budgetary funding for the needs of university researchers and innovators, but also for the development of the national research space in general. Representatives of the State Tax University expressed a wish to receive more information about the Horizon Europe Programme, especially about individual calls related to their activity area.

The Head of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine told the guests about the Office’s work with its main task is to provide information and advisory support on the implementation of the Programme and participation of Ukrainian researchers and innovators in it. In addition, the opportunities of the Programme were presented.

Finally, the guests invited the Office’s team to visit the university and hold an event there to inform about participating in the Programme. As a result, it was agreed to use the university as an information platform to pay attention to the need to restore Ukraine’s scientific and research infrastructure and, as a result, to attract donor assistance.
