Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine joined the IP&Innovations Hub Day
On April 25, Ihor Taranov, Head of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, National Research Foundation of Ukraine, took part in the IP Week 2024 event
organized by the Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovation. The 4th day of the event – IP&Innovations Hub Day – was devoted to the National IP&Innovations Hub and how to develop the innovation infrastructure in the country.
The participants were presented with the opportunities of the National IP&Innovations Hub for the innovative development of Ukraine, where they discussed the main achievements of the hub’s six-month activity, immediate plans, successful cases, development of regional innovation hubs and long-term prospects.
For his part, the Head of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine spoke about the funding opportunities provided to Ukrainian scientists, researchers and innovators by Horizon Europe, as well as the specifics of participation in the Programme’s calls. In addition, the speaker shared information on new initiatives of the European Commission aimed at supporting Ukrainian organizations that can be successfully used by representatives of Ukraine and diversify financial sources for their activities in the field of research and innovation.
In addition, the participants of the event reviewed such issues as TISC Impact: experience, challenges and prospects; Lab2Market UA: acceleration for scientists. Also, discussion panels focused on the prospects for the development of regional hubs and opportunities to attract funding through the National IP&Innovations Hub.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, SMEs, academia and the professional community.
