Home News Events The 2nd Q&A session for NCPs from Ukraine and Moldova, dedicated to the Horizon Europe, took place as a part of the Horizon Academy project

On 14 October, as a part of the Horizon Academy project, the second Q&A session for representatives of the National Contact Points of Ukraine and Moldova was held, focusing on specific aspects of participation in the Horizon Europe Programme. Maurizio Toscano, Horizon Academy Project and Horizon Europe NCP Portal Coordinator, and Marie Komendziński, Policy Officer, DG RTD 03, European Commission, opened the event with welcome speeches.

During this session, representatives of the NCP Vasiliki Kalodimou, WIDENING NCP specialist, Greece, and Martin Baumgartner, Legal & Financial NCP, Austria, provided explanations to questions sent in advance by participants, as well as those that arose directly during the streaming of the event, within their areas of responsibility. In particular, the questions concerned the possibilities for NCPs to participate as project partners, the preliminary evaluation of project applications, the maximum number of days of employment in projects, budgeting, subcontracting and other financial issues.

As it was the first time, the event was organised by experts from the Network of National Contact Points in cooperation with the European Commission and the National Offices of the Horizon Europe Programme in Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova as a part of the Horizon Academy project. The sessions provided an excellent opportunity for participants from both countries to engage in their activities as NCPs.
