The seven Horizon Europe Programme Cluster 6 calls for proposals have recently close. We have received 1.269 project ideas. The submitted proposals are competing for €890 million EU funding.

Evaluations are starting with the help of independent experts. Successful projects will be informed in June. They are expected to start as of November to help the EU deliver on its climate action goals set on The European Green Deal.

Submission figures per call:

  • Biodiversity call (12 topics): 227 proposals are competing for €111 million.
    Under this call, the topic ‘Demonstrating the potential of Nature-based solutions and the New European Bauhaus to contribute to sustainable, inclusive and resilient living spaces and communities’ has received the highest number of proposals (62).
  • EUFarm2Fork call (18 topics): 373 proposals are competing for €164 million.
    In this case, the topics ‘New healthy and sustainable food products and processes’ and ‘EU-African Union cooperation on agroforestry management for climate change adaptation and mitigation’ have received the highest number of proposals (59 each).
  • Circular economy call (16 topics): 392 proposals competing for €147,5 million.
    Most of the proposals (62) have been submitted to develop ‘Circular solutions for textile value chains through innovative sorting, recycling, and design for recycling’.
  • Zero pollution call (5 topics): 95 proposals are competing for €61 million.
    Most of the proposals (46) under this call have been submitted to advance ‘Innovative technologies for zero pollution, zero-waste biorefineries’.
  • Climate Action call (7 topics): 64 proposals are competing for €61 million.
    The highest interest has gone to the topic ‘Improving irrigation practices and technologies in agriculture’ which has received 19 project proposals (19).
  • Resilient communities call (5 topics): 99 proposals are competing for €37 million.
    Under this call, the topic ‘New sustainable business and production models for farmers and rural communities’ has received the highest number of proposals (42).
  • Governance call (12 topics): 83 proposals are competing for €110,5 million.
    Most of the proposals (28) submitted to this call aim to ‘Enhance working conditions and strengthen the work force through digital and data technologies – the potential of robotics and augmented reality in agriculture’.Learn more about each call: https://europa.eu/!bHUYQP
