Information on the call within Bled Water Festival 2024
Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine informs that the Bled Water Festival 2024 has announced a call for applications on the topic to improve the quality of drinking water and water sources, thereby contributing to environmental protection and enhancing access to clean water.
Companies implementing innovations in the water sector are invited to participate in the call. Participation in the event is free of charge, details of the application are given below.
Fields of innovation:
- Improve drinking water quality: Solutions for containing various contaminants
- Protection of water quality: Innovative approaches to safeguard rivers, lakes, and seas.
Application requirements:
- Title of the project/technical solution
- Filed the project/technical solution is applying for (A or B)
- Company name
- Company contact (name, email)
- Short description of the project/technical solutions (maximum 300 words).

The winners of the call will be announced and awarded the European Water Awards (EWA) 2024 during the Bled Water Festival 2024 (Bled, Slovenia) which will take place on June 13-14, 2024. This prestigious award recognizes outstanding solutions that significantly improve the quality of drinking water and water sources, thereby contributing to environmental protection and enhancing access to clean water.
Bled Water Festival 2024 this year announces a collaboration with the Slovenian Business and Research Association (SBRA) in Brussels, which will support the winner in obtaining EU funding for further development of their project.

The European Water Awards have been recognizing innovation in water management since 2016, in cooperation with various national ministries and partners across Europe. Through these awards, it is aimed to promote best practices, facilitate connections with investors, and encourage the sustainable use and supply of water.
