The MSCA COFUND and Staff Exchanges 2026 calls are now open, with a combined budget of over €200 million to support organisations across Europe and beyond.
COFUND: Supports organisations wishing to create or strengthen doctoral and postdoctoral programmes, co-funding researcher training and career development.
Deadline for proposals: 8 April 2026
Staff Exchanges: supports international, intersectoral and interdisciplinary staff secondments, enabling knowledge exchange across academia, industry and other sectors.

Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU joined the scientific and practical conference of NCP European Innovative Ecosystems in Ukraine
On December 11, representatives of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU took part in an event organised by the National Contact Point on the Horizon Europe European Innovation Council and European Innovation Ecosystems. The scientific and practical conference aimed to gather researchers, civil servants, representatives of state scientific institutions and private innovative companies. Within the framework of three sessions, the participants assessed the potential of interaction between science and business, discussed ways to overcome the challenges facing the scientific community, and considered practical cases of business participation in strengthening the innovative component of the national economy.(more…)

On December 10, a Round Table “European Union Programme Erasmus+: current opportunities for Ukrainian participants” was held, organised by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine together with the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine as part of the Information Weeks of the EU Programme Erasmus+ in the areas of education, professional training, youth and sports. Forming the national community of science managers at a modern university: representatives of the NRFU joined the All-Ukrainian training for science managers and administrators
On December 4-5, the All-Ukrainian training on improving the qualifications of managers and administrators of science of Ukraine will take place at Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. Executive Director of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine Olga Polotska and Head of the Department “Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine”, NRFU Igor Taranov took part as speakers on the first day of the event.
The Executive Director of the NRFU joined the greetings of the participants. Representatives of the NRFU also spoke in the panel dedicated to grant activities. In particular, Olga Polotska informed those who were present about the activities of the NRFU, its structure, as well as types of grant support.
