On March 6, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, held an Information Day for Scientists, Researchers and Innovators in the Healthcare Field. Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine continues to hold working meetings with representatives of the Programme Committees responsible for monitoring the implementation of the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon Europe. On March 5, the Office’s experts held an online meeting with members of the European Research Council Committee.
Igor Taranov, the Head of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, who is also responsible for the European Research Council Programme component within the Pillar I Excellent Science, noted that the purpose of such events is to establish uninterrupted communication between all participants in the process. He also reminded that soon the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine will nominate National Contact Points which will work closely with representatives of the Programme Committees and the Office team.
In addition, the Head of the Office emphasised that it is necessary to develop a common state position, agreed with the MoESU, to represent Ukraine at international events organised by the European Commission.
The participants shared their previous knowledge of the process and expressed their vision of improving the activities and establishing effective work.
Submitting a project proposal under Horizon Europe is a challenging task that requires careful planning, precise budgeting, and a seamless collaboration with partners. (more…)

On February 29, experts of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine held an online meeting with the National Contact Points of the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme. On February 29, experts of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine spoke at a webinar “Opportunities for Ukrainian participants and peculiarities of creating a consortium in the Horizon Europe Framework Programme”. The audience learned about the aspects of participation in calls under the Research Infrastructures within Pillar I Excellent Science.
The webinar was held at the Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovations as part of the “Talking about my idea” project. More than 110 participants joined the event.
Igor Taranov, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Head of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, spoke about the opportunities of the Horizon Europe Framework Programme for Ukrainian researchers and innovators. Yuliia Reminska, PhD in Law, Leading Officer of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, presented the peculiarities of forming consortia in the Programme.
The audience asked many questions and received comprehensive professional answers from the speakers.
