On September 30, an information event “Excellence Lab Bavaria – Ukraine” took place. The European Commission allocated an additional €500 million to Horizon Europe, the EU’s flagship research and innovation programme, for 2026 and 2027. With this additional amount, the total budget reaches now around €14.8 billion for the two years. The EC has also adopted the amendment to the Horizon Europe “main” work programme 2026-2027.
