On December 4-5, the All-Ukrainian training on improving the qualifications of managers and administrators of science of Ukraine will take place at Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. Executive Director of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine Olga Polotska and Head of the Department “Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine”, NRFU Igor Taranov took part as speakers on the first day of the event.

The Executive Director of the NRFU joined the greetings of the participants. Representatives of the NRFU also spoke in the panel dedicated to grant activities. In particular, Olga Polotska informed those who were present about the activities of the NRFU, its structure, as well as types of grant support. Among other things, the speaker said a few words about the future opportunities that would open up for Ukrainian participants of NRFU calls in 2026. (more…)

On December 3, employees of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine held an information session dedicated to the grant opportunities of the NRFU and support tools within the Horizon Europe Programme. The event was organised and held for Taras Shevchenko Luhansk National University, which is significantly interested in receiving additional funding for scientific, research and innovative activities from both the state and the EU. On November 24-26, representatives of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU paid a working visit to the Prague Technology Center (Czech Republic). The Ukrainian delegation got acquainted in detail with the activities of the National Information Center for European Research (NICER), which is a division of the Technological Center. Its main mission is to strengthen the participation of Czech researchers, innovators and organisations in the European Research Area, among others, in the Horizon Europe Framework Programme. The purpose of the visit was to study the tools of support for the participants of the Programme, exchange experience in the field of research and innovation, and establish partnership bilateral relations.
